5. Night of the Reedmakers in Barcelona
Reed makers from all over the world met to exchange information
After the establishment in Leamington Spa/UK during the ITMA Birmingham in 2003, the Spaleck Reed Makers Club celebrated its 5th „Night of the Reed Makers“ at September 27, 2011. The Spaleck reed makers club, with Otto Spaleck as president, unites reed makers from all over the world and has the purpose to allow an exchange of information among the members.
After the events in Leamington, Singapore, Shanghai, Munich and now Barcelona the club now joins 102 members from 23 countries. In the great atmosphere of the Barcelona W hotel 46 guests spent an unforgetable night. Besides the admission of new members one of the highlights was the election of the new vice president Ernesto Zanfrini, Italy. All members are looking forward to the next meeting in Milan in 2015.
